The Blasphemy
The blasphemous cartoons have yet again intensified the already heated up relationships of the Muslims and the West. I have always been the supporter of open dialogue and analyze the matter with all possible unbiased angles. Unfortunately , the falling societies and nations always see the issue with conspiracy theories eyes , due to which , we are unable to diagnose the correct way to cope up this embarrassing situation and putting overselves on reverse track to expose before the world as a myopic reactionary people.
Our emotional country Pakistan , once again played a non-productive vibrant role through imposing ban over Facebook, Youtube , Wikipedia and many other websites to record the protest against the blasphemous acts recently made on Facebook Groups.
First of all, it must be understood that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was not an ordinary human being. He has entriely different stature , and being a Prophet , comparing with other humans is totally indefensible ; and this stature has been directly given by the God. Therefore, any reason for his blasphemy favoring from the norms of “Freedom of Speech” is unjustifiable , since, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was a divine personality and million of people are follower of him and keep sacred love with him. In addition , blasphemy leads to dishearten the millions of people which is supposed against the spirit of “Freedom of Speech” democratic theory. We must embrace that these heinous acts are being done by very tiny groups and on the other hand most educated masses of West condemn such nonsense . Despite all, West needs to understand , that these tiny elements may damage the inter-religious balance of the world, it need to be addressed at high intellectual levels to avoid further misunderstanding and growing rigid theories to deglobalize the humanity. Further, it must be appreciated that Muslims , despite all odds , respect and love all Prophets i.e. Jesus (PBUH) and Moses (PBUH) ; and it is a legal obligation on Muslim to belive in all Prophets and without it ,he/she can not be called “Muslim”.
As far the character of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is concered , prior to presenting in front of the world, this first need to educate and teach to Muslims, since , present day Muslim are blind emotionalist and never ever read , how Prohet Muhammad (PBUH) contented with such situation , as this blasphemy has been happening from their time. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught the love, patience and positive attitude towards such senarios but we are totally unaware of his teaching and come up with foolish plans and negative tactics to protest proving as immatured nation of the world. This is interesting to note that protest is the invention as a result of struggle for democracy in the West. But, we shout against the enemy through his instruments.
Instead of conducting debates and open dialouge with western media and various plateforms to present our correct point of view about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) , showing his true character , we followed the Ostrich attitude through boycotting the Facebook, Youtube, Wikipedia and other websites. One must need to understand , through, boycotting these websites , we have actually left the battlefield and closed the the door of education and thirst of knowledge on our generation. we had to present our opinion with arguments and defeat them academically. On top of all , we are getting happy that we have conquered the world through these timid steps.
In addition , this blasphemous issue is more echoed around the world mostly by the Muslims , through joining blasphemous group on Facebook and propogating information about it, although, the wise act was to remain silent and make clear their misconceptions through academic arguments , since , their argument for this blasphemous act is based on Muslim suicidal bomb blast stretegy on Non-combatant non-muslims. Therefore, we also need to understand the root causes of blasphemy. It is more dishearting to note, our educated and religous class do not understand that how such reactionary protest and material is further defaming us. We have new and modern cloths, cars and luxurious homes but our mind set is still 200 years old who behaves like childish brains.
There are thousands of Islamic groups and organization are working on Facebook, Youtube and Wikipedia to propogate and preach the true message of Allah , but, this ban is a big hurdle to do so. If a non-muslim requires some information about Islam from wikipedia, what he will do; may be he run away from truth. These are minor things but have great meaning , if think unbiasly. Why we want to degrade and put West in the Hell , instead , we should have intense desire to convert them into Islam and allow them to taste Jannah in hereafter. If this mindset is followed, our 70% of issues would automatically start to resolve. We must need to finish hate and follow positive attitude towards West , to avoid blasphemy incidents because love and peace can heal the deepest wounds, but on contrary anger and hate only work as catalyst to further ignite the issues.

Paranoia & Amnesia
The suicide bombings are increasing….. Innocent people are killing…. But where is the conscious of Pakistanis… No serious condemnation of this cruelty….no voice from religious class…. No protest of “Civil Society”…
On the contrary, people are adamant that war has been imposed on us and keep repeating the songs of Taliban & Al-Qaeda ‘s revolution and the most famous politicians suggest if US is ready to talk them then why we not. In clear words, we should make terrorists sit in the laps -may be in the most luxurious rooms of Cancer Hospital.
The representatives of 19th century Islamic version and their associates (whose founding fathers had seen flowery dreams of unrealistic Pan-islamic state) have ruined the peace of the world and subsequently taken our religion at the level where Europeans started their counter strategies through diffident democratic instruments.
Any how we are suffering from Cancer, which is even supposed incurable in the western world; so where we stand. In context of on going terror wave where innocent people are being killed in Rawalpindi, Lahore & Multan, the most prominent diseases have come into my notice are paranoia and amnesia which can be seen easily in every third person.
Paranoia is a psychological disorder in which thought process heavily influenced by anxiety or fear, often to the point of irrationality and delusion. Paranoid thinking typically includes persecutory beliefs concerning a perceived threat towards oneself. The individual thinks that the persecutor has the intention to cause harm. Now map this disorder at our national, political, religious and social structure, one is always found to blame others and never ready for introspection/self evaluation of wrong doings.
After every terrorist attack, the trendiest reply by people, even educated class that India/US/Israel are behind these attacks. India has become a serious mental pain for our Pakistanis. We see India in every matter i.e. to send our religious and national wraths or to find out the Pakistani solution for every ethnical, sectarian and political violence. To strengthen this disorder, US and Israel are new allies after cold war; significantly.
From 2 or 3 years, our intelligence agencies are efficiently busy in tracing the proofs of India involvement, but could not able to catch any concrete clues or materials that could be presented in front of international community. On emotional or self delusion level, India and USA are completely involved in suicide bombings and political instability but on argument level – unfortunately, very insufficient material is available to establish an opinion against them. Very well said by Hasan Nisar on Kamran Khan Show that “we Pakistanis only know one war that should be against India” we are not ready to accept the current challenge that is even more nasty and fearful war engulfing silently us. At every important stage in our short country history, we showed paranoid attributes. During Saqoot-e-Dhaka, we remained silent upon what we had done with Bengalis but raised our fingers on external factors. Even in replace of cruel mass killings of Bengalis and undemocratic defying their political and ethnical rights, we used religion with the support Karachi based political cum religious leadership’s products like “Albadr” and “Alshams”.
Unfortunately, same traits are being repeated and we only want to see India behind these bombings. I give wrath on India that why you are on the world map, due to you, we are unable to identify our enemies.
The second disease is an amnesia (Short Term Memory Loss) in which we forget most recent statements/events/talks that are considered very important. We do remember Fatwas regarding who is recent Kafir , what is new Haram or Halal but easily forget the messages that are issued from so called religious militants (Al-Qaeda) in which they clearly intimidate whoever is the ally of Kuffar (US & Association) is a Kafir and entitled to be killed. Similarly, Tehrek-e-Taliban Pakistan has announced several times that they will continue their attacks over American allies. If these militants are sincere with Muslim Umma, they immediately come out on the ground right after the Rawalpindi and Lahore attacks and provide proofs that we are not behind these heinous attacks, show condolences to innocent victims, attend their “Namaz-e-Janaza”, put down their arms and announce publically that due to their militant strategy, our own people are being killed. But on contrary, we do not find any hints of these compromising or progressive steps.
After every attack, no serious condemnation is issued from religious class instead; they give more focus to provide reasons to these attacks. Their condemnations may easily be called “Hypocrite Statements”. Further, they change the direction that external forces are actual responsible.
This war is very unique. The real enemy is the mindset of majority of Pakistanis. In order to undo this, we need an extensive strategy that should be comprised of argument basis interpretations of Islam and the teaching of patience, tolerance, religious harmony, love, sympathy and attitude reformation etc. If these are targeted, then change would start Inshallah.

New Terror Wave
War against Terror is continuously getting worst… Terrorists are opting educational institutes, Army & Police Personnel and still we don’t want to explore the rationale behind these heinous activities.
We just make our self satisfy after every attack with this Duwa” May Allah save Pakistani and Muslims”, where rest of the humanity goes! This is one the aspect that shows our self-oriented approach towards this critical matter and contrary we solicit Almighty Blessings.
The cure of terror disease is not seems to be resolved until the diagnosis of right vein and subsequently confessing of our collective wrong doing. In corporate world trainings, a lot of emphasize is given on “Team Work” to achieve the business goals and this is considered the most proven way to meet the target. In professional world, we not only strictly adhere these soft skill sets, but also apply the same in our social and religious collective life in terms of negatives. After 62 years, where we stand is only due to the “Team Effort” of our nation in every wrong doings. So, professionalism is with us but has been and being utilized to spread Feudalism, Military & Democratic Dictatorship and likewise the religion for political cause, country survival slogans, various religious movements for their baseless driven agendas, conquer neighbor country land, Promote so called Jehad in the world for the establishment of 19th Century Islamic Version Order and provide unauthorized lands to Afghanis without systematic planning. This has lead “Hypocrisy” among us because adequate resources with no vision always do the same.
In era of 80’s, these terrorist were our heroes and we used to dream to conquer India through them. But now, their ideologies, intentions, arms are targeting us. Once, there were nourished by us or may be still since we have not diagnosed the disease yet. This is the result of “Hypocrisy” based on 19th Century version of Islam. We would be facing even more drastic terrorism unless to find out the correct ways of diagnosis and when it shall have done then healing process would start, thereby; one could evaluate the long process to see the terror free Pakistan.
Majority assume this approach negative, desperate and anti-country mind. But we are suffering cancer, and to cure it, penadol or flowery dialogues will not do the treatment. This is the time demand to act critically since the available intelligentsia/politicians that are considered most respected among literate circles are unable to see the other picture of this whole matter. They give examples of Taliban Justice and say that War of terrorism does not belongs to us; we have jumped in deliberately.
For me, this situation depicts that we need more time to realize and should ready for ultimate consequences. Till then we can only pray “May Allah guide us to right path”.

There’s a telling photograph accompanying columnist Salman Masood’s article on the Kerry-Lugar Bill in the October 8 issue of New York Times. The piece is on how Pakistanis have been reacting to the supposedly controversial aid bill.
There was nothing new about the reactions that Masood gathered, with most of the respondents dishing out the usual top-of-mind rhetoric about ‘sovereignty’ and all that, but it was the picture that was worth a thousand, nay, a million words. It showed two trendy young men sitting with the plastic replica of Rodney McDonald outside a McDonald’s joint in Islamabad. According to Masood, both men vehemently opposed the bill, saying that it ‘undermines Pakistan’s sovereignty’.
The picture is a classic case of the stinging socio-political contradiction that Pakistan has become. Its people and politicians, its army and holy men can be seen lovingly engaging with the most ubiquitous symbols, gadgets and concepts of what we all instantly ridicule as ‘western materialism/imperialism’, and yet without even blinking for a second, many Pakistanis can be expected to roll out high and mighty examples of thoughtless oratory about political and cultural sovereignty.
My question is: if we aren’t sovereign, then exactly what does a politically and culturally sovereign Pakistan really mean? This question is bound to bag numerous different answers. And that should be expected in the diverse ethnic and sectarian milieu of Pakistan. This diversity is yet to be recognised by the state and its society, that strives rather unsuccessfully to define and defend Pakistan’s identity as a cohesive and singular whole, constantly dragging in religion believing it to be the glue that could hold the centre of this ideological singularity.
But it hasn’t. Because the religion has many sects and sub-sects, and each sect has its own take on the religion’s traditions and rituals. It is vital that to keep tensions between these sects at a minimum, governments and the state, as well as the hyper electronic media, stop dragging religion out of peoples’ homes and into public sphere.
Let’s, for once and for all, resign to the fact that there is one God, but there most certainly is not one faith. The more this reality remains inside the privacy of homes, the better. Otherwise, Pakistanis of various sects and sub-sects will not only continue judging the validity and authenticity of each other’s faith, they will clash with the cohesive version of the religion that the state of Pakistan has been peddling for years now.
Sovereignty, like charity, begins at home. We delude ourselves and glorify our importance by constantly suggesting how powerful nations are so interested in Pakistan; as if Pakistan is all that is discussed by their politicians, army generals, think-tanks and economists. Conspiracy theorists, fringe politicians, mullahs, Islamists and the chattering classes put us at the centre of the universe, around which malicious superpowers constantly hatch conspiracies and schemes to destabilise our wonderful Islamic republic.
The truth is rather simple, really. The above is merely a mirage; a feel-good (and yet paranoid) projection, splashed to obscure the many state level and social failures this unfortunate republic has been suffering in the name of religion, patriotism and, of course, sovereignty. On what basis do we demand sovereignty? What do we have to deserve it?
Many would turn around and instantly remind you that we are a nuclear power. If so, then perhaps we are only slightly better than the isolationist, poverty-stricken and repressive North Korea. Well then the bomb’s all we have, and as an acute case of collective neurosis, we so passionately worship our ‘fathers of the bomb’, a devise that can wipe out whole populations and countries.
Where are the schools, hospitals, a welfare system, political stability, a robust democracy, a healthy economy, and a life free of sectarian and religious strife, bigotry, bloodshed and hatred? We are all prisoners of certain delusions—about ourselves and about the many countries that we believe are constantly scheming against us. We refuse to free ourselves from these paranoid, self-serving apparitions and yet we demand sovereignty from the nefarious designs of our many (largely imagined) enemies. The enemy is us.
Each one of us is to be blamed. Once we manage to openly recognise and confess our own shortcomings, our journey to a sovereign state based on religious tolerance, economic progress and political plurality shall begin. Till then all we can do is to keep hugging our bomb and raise our bony fists in a delusional exhibition of empty triumph and hysterical paranoia.

Wrong Benchmark
Simon Tofel has had his revenge by giving out to Umar Akmal being not nominated for “Best Umpire of the Year”… , Younus dropped the ICC Champion Trophy by injured finger… , Batsmen were not up to the mark for a big semi-final…
These talks are not something unusual after every big defeat in cricket match. Actually, we assume that Englishmen have made cricket only for Pakistan’s win. Other teams are ordained to defeat by us. We also consider cricket match a “Religious Battle Ground” and demand India to decide Kashmir matter through cricket match. Observe the mobile messages during the tense matches, people took the help of Quranic Verses for win (although, verses have other meaning and context). I confidently say, more than 70 % people of our country follow this angle of watching cricket.
After a major win, we get happy to overwhelm every challenge that country is upto against. There is no doubt; Pakistan is very talented cricket side. From last two years or so, we have very rare international cricket here, but despite that, our cricketing talent is still good as compared to India where IPL has become a commercial and entertainment industry. Our bowling talent has been excellent from decades and is still better; it can be compared significantly. So, we should encourage such performance for getting into top 4 rather than to put the loyalty of our players in doubt in terms of bribing or match fixing.
Cricket is a game, and it should be taken as a game, nothing more than it. If we would take it in other means, controversies, frustrations, dramas and blames games would keep continue.

Layari Gang War
If someone has watched Indian movie “Vastav”, one could easily imagine the similarity between Ragu ‘s area power game and Layari on going tussle of gangs at the cost of innocent lives of peoples , policemen , opponents and prevailing of fear among the inhabitants. In the closing moments of the movie, Ragu (Sanjay Dut) asked the crime plotter Minister that “Aj Ragu khatam , kal Anwer Hateila aa gaya , phir uss k baad koie aur , phir koiee aur”. This dialogue is nothing much strange for residents of Layari, as they have experienced series of Ragu like gangsters over the decades with the interest based support of local provincial ministers. Until the threat to the interests of ministers, Ragu like peoples are nourished; although, threatening the inhabitants all the time is not an issue. The mark of society degradation comes into notice once again! For me, the local people should also take responsibility for making Layari the land of “Crime Hub”. They applaud and motivate these gangsters; on the contrary, they are not fighting for any political or religious cause whereby we could allow the excuse for coming over the wrong interpretation to get their goals. They actually fight who can sell more drugs, arms and exchanges human lives. Therefore, promoting and allowing such situation is not possible only due the impositions by government’s ministers but evident with supports of local people. A good or bad culture is always promoted with the help of people, and this crime culture has prevailed due to the same. However, it is also a truth that governmental Ministers take benefit from these gangsters for their interests and play equal role with locals to make them hero one day and zero on the other day. The religious scholars should start their Jehad in the Layari to preach people about the basic morals of human life and Islam despite focusing on not-achievable targets of throwing back super power. A change is always a collective effort, so let’s hope for the better time ahead.

The rebirth of trademark shout “Domination of Parliament” after Election February 2008 is being continuously utilized effectively in Pakistani political context. I strongly opine that society suffers the humiliation in every corner of social and economical life when their intelligentsia thinks from the roots where mediocre politicians get nourishment.
One school of intellectuals strongly inclined that all worse has happened due to the military dictatorship for more than 25 years, although; upon every end of Military regime, allegations and criticism always restricted to one particular personality even by this school of thought. The other opposite school alleges politicians for all current hell and never let them eligible to run political process. They strongly support the idea of dictatorship like the Muslim used to have in past and at present experiencing in Arabs countries.
Whether, it be politician, military dictator, bureaucrats, religious scholars or common men; all are victimized of totalitarian mindsets. The main reason behind this is actually the transfer of inherited totalitarian traits from Muslim Kingships and imperialist attitude to us that was later be associated with religious grounds. Keeping this context in mind, pick every important event and matter of our country and Muslim history, one would significantly find the totalitarian approach. After the domination of western civilization, Democracy took a new form and presented itself the best available solution for human political requirement.
With the pride of our totalitarian approach and accommodate the unstoppable “Democracy “in our societies, we got confused , derailed the national vision and still enable to present the right formula for Muslim Society development. Unfortunately, our country came into being at the time; when western Democracy was at its pinnacle and inevitable to instill on every nation. We find many instances when our founding father showed totalitarian approach in dealing inter-politics, although; he wanted to put the wheel of this country on secularist track. Unfortunately, due to his early departure from world and his alien cultural imposing policies for Bengalis and promoting so called Islamic theories over the rich provincial & ethnical cultures could not enabled us to start political process that actually led the further totalitarianism and subsequently feudalism, Mullaieyat, illiteracy and corruption across the country.
However, the starting point of change is “One Education System for All” truly based on the environment of research and exchanging healthy arguments. This will help us to break the personality idol culture that has engulfed our country horribly. Secondly, we need to break the established dogmas that have become our routine rituals like hating and abusing India, USA, Jews, Christians and etc. From said two aspects, our pride would attain equilibrium and in effect totalitarian would hurt and eventually new healthy blood be produced.
So, Education (remember … Argument & Research based) should be our utmost priority to have the positive change. In absence of this, we will keep make ourselves fool by diverting the real essence of solution towards temporary bigheaded talks like We are Muslim! We can not be defeated or humiliated in world & hereafter…, We are only Islamic Atomic Power … Decide Kashmir & India issues through cricket match…, Crises of power & water are temporary and due to some corrupt people…, Zardari… is all culprit…, Rulers have sold us………Go America Go…, Impeach Musharaf… and so forth. These are trendy talks can be heard easily and depict the mental status of our society that where it stands. We need to stick with positives thereby spreading realistic positivism without any pride is most needed step.
The wrong religious interpretations have also an impact on our development but it requires detail pen sketching that is due for next writing.
In the end: Positive Thinking, Positive Mind Positive Society and Developed & Cultured Country.

Dhoni Leadership
Dhoni Leadership:
The leadership style of Mohendar Singh Dhoni has really impressed me in these days. On his debut to international career, I was expecting him a crazy and childish character due to his long hairs and powerful (sometimes needless) hits over the ropes. But with the passage of time the way he adopted a mature and match finishing approach, it was really appreciable. And after getting captaincy in young age, he showed those traits of leaderships which people dream about it. Even world greatest players like Sachin and Lara could not be match with him at this point. I have found few leadership traits in him that are:
1. Lead from the Front: He used to bat down the order but after getting captaincy, he mostly comes at number 3 or 4 whenever his team needs him. He performed this responsibility in very efficient manner.
2. Aggressive Approach: Always looking to give 50 50 option in order to get desired result. It shows his brave and aggressive approach. His utilization of bowling attack against Australia is a clean example.
3. Inspire: If all team members start to show their maximum potential, it means the leader behind them has totally inspired them. The performance of all Indian players shows how much they are really inspired from him.
4. Competent: His skills in wicket keeping and batting are no doubt excellent. The way, he has transformed his hard-hitting approach to mature player in young age is truly amazing.
For me, the people who want to become leader in any field must study Mr.Dhoni‘s personality, it must help them since playing field can be different but leadership traits remain always constant.
